PACKAGE DESIGN
Fishchum gummies is the best way to indulge in the benefits of omega 3 and fish oils. It is formulated like gummy candy and comes in a cute and colourful package to appeal to children. The brand name is a combination of the words fish and chum (meaning close friend), so that kids will see their Fishchum dispenser as their little fish friend. The brand also offers 3 different kinds of fish oils so children and adults with certain fish allergies have more options to choose from.

PROCESS
Through my sketching process I tried exploring the best possible designs for this product. Originally I wanted to create a metallic tablet dispenser, then I thought of creating a plastic keychain like gummy dispender. After going through different ideas, I decided on creating a plastic fish container which would come in a colourful fish themed paper box.
PROCESS
To make the fish container, I pressed paper clay on to a taiyaki pan (fish shaped waffle iron) and once I got the shape I used an exacto knife to remove the excess clay and reshape it with my fingers to make it smooth and have a flat bottom. It had to be smooth with a flat bottom to go inside a heat press vacuum machine. I placed the clay fish inside the vacuum to create my plastic fish container. Later while making prototypes for the paper packaging, I experimented with a lot of different styles first, and one of the styles was a fish net like bag. This was hard to attempt and create dielines for, so it got scrapped and I created a paper box with a sleeve that would mimic fish shape. While making it I got into other problems and had to remake my dielines several times for my final design.

FINAL PRODUCT
Each container has a different type of gummy inside it. The yellow one contains omega 3 gummies, while the pink one has salmon and the green one has cod oil gummies. Three different kind of gummies were made to accomodate for people with certain fish allergies. The omega 3 gummies are lemon flavoured, the salmon gummies are raspberry flavoured and the cod gummies are lime flavoured. Also, the fishes inside depict a different colour to compliment the outside packaging. Here, the pink one belongs to the green cod, the blue one belongs to the yellow package, and the green one is with the pink salmon.
